1. Definitions

“Client” means any individual or entity booking services from Julia’s Bar.

“Julia’s Bar” refers to the mobile cocktail bar service, including its staff, contractors, and agents.

“Booking” means any confirmed reservation for mobile bar services, including open bar packages, cocktail service, bartender hire, and beverage catering.

“Event” means the date and location at which services are provided.

2. Quotation & Packages

Following consultation, the Client will receive a quotation valid for 30 days.

Julia’s Bar offers the following service formats:

Open Bar Packages (fixed price per guest or per hour)

Consumption Bar (pay-per-drink)

Dry Hire Bar (bar setup + bartenders, Client supplies alcohol)

● Custom Cocktail Experiences

Quotes are based on:

● Guest count

● Service duration

● Drink selection (standard vs premium)

● Event location & logistics

Any changes may result in a revised quotation.

3. Open Bar Package Terms

a. Open bar packages are based on a fixed duration and agreed guest count.

b. Service includes agreed beverages, bar staff, setup, and basic bar equipment unless otherwise stated.

c. Extensions beyond agreed service time are subject to availability and additional charges.

d. Excessive consumption, waste, or unauthorized distribution of alcohol may result in early termination of service without refund.

e. Certain premium spirits, wines, or specialty cocktails may incur additional charges.

4. Pricing

a. Prices may change due to supplier costs, import pricing (alcohol), fuel, or government regulations in Curaçao.

b. Minimum spend or minimum guest requirements may apply.

c. All prices include applicable local taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Payment Methods

Accepted payment methods:

● Bank transfer

● Cash (by prior agreement only)

Cheques are not accepted.

6. Payment Terms

25% deposit required to confirm booking

● Remaining balance due 10 days prior to the Event

● Any additions must be paid 7 days before the Event

Failure to meet payment deadlines may result in cancellation.

7. Booking & Changes

● Bookings are only confirmed upon receipt of deposit

● Changes allowed up to 10 days prior to the Event

● Final guest count must be confirmed 10 days before

After this point, reductions are non-refundable.

8. Cancellation Policy

● More than 7 days before Event → refund (excluding fees)

● Within 7 days → no refund

● Guest reductions within 7 days → no refund

9. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to:

● Provide accurate event details (time, location, guest count)

● Ensure timely payment

● Provide a safe, accessible setup area

● Ensure all guests comply with legal drinking age laws in Curaçao (18+)

Service Time

Service begins and ends at agreed times. Extensions are charged at $25 per 30 minutes unless otherwise agreed.

10. Responsible Alcohol Service (Curaçao Compliance)

Julia’s Bar strictly adheres to responsible alcohol service standards:

● No service to persons under 18 years of age

● Staff may request valid ID at any time

● Service will be refused to intoxicated or disruptive guests

● Julia’s Bar reserves the right to stop service if safety becomes a concern

The Client is responsible for ensuring a safe drinking environment and supporting staff decisions.

11. Licensing & Legal Compliance (Curaçao)

● The Client is responsible for ensuring the venue permits alcohol service

● Any required event permits or permissions must be obtained in advance

● Julia’s Bar can assist with guidance but is not liable for permit issues unless agreed in writing

12. Equipment & Setup

Julia’s Bar will provide:

● Mobile bar setup (if included in package)

● Bartending tools and standard glassware (if agreed)

The Client must provide (unless agreed otherwise):

● Adequate space and access

● Electricity and/or water if required

The Client is liable for:

● Damage to equipment

● Lost or broken glassware

● Cleanup beyond reasonable use

13. Liability & Insurance

a. Julia’s Bar is not responsible for:

● Guest behavior or alcohol-related incidents

● Injuries caused by intoxication

● Third-party damages

b. The Client agrees to indemnify Julia’s Bar against claims arising from guest actions.

c. The Client must ensure a safe environment for staff and service.

14. Privacy Policy

Julia’s Bar collects Client information for booking and service purposes only.

● Information is kept secure and confidential

● Payment details are not stored after processing

● Data may be retained only for repeat bookings upon request

15. Force Majeure

Julia’s Bar is not liable for failure or delay due to:

● Weather conditions (especially relevant for outdoor Caribbean events)

● Government restrictions

● Natural disasters

● Strikes, emergencies, or unforeseen circumstances

16. Additional Charges

Additional costs may apply for:

● Extended service hours

● Travel outside standard service areas in Curaçao

● Parking or access fees

● Premium alcohol upgrades

● Additional staff or custom requests

17. Agreement

By confirming a booking, the Client agrees to these Terms & Conditions in full.
